Winery review: "It was here in the Pfalz, back in the 19th century, that Pinot Gris was first identified as an individual variety and vilified separately. The modern-day Villa Wolf Pinot Gris is made in a full-bodied, dry style with fresh, unbaked fruit and a crisp texture." - wine.com

My review: This was a lovely bottle of Pinot Gris. It was light and refreshing with a full body. It had the sweet fruity taste I enjoy, but also had a slight dryness to it. The dryness had lasting effects on my taste buds and throat, and left my mouth feeling a little buzzed and ready for me! I ate a medium well-done steak with brussels sprouts and asparagus. The wine complemented my meal and I would recommend this wine to others.
