Winery Review: Pale sunshine yellow color & slight frizzante, this Moscato d'Asti has intense aromas of peaches, rose petals, & ginger. On the palate it is delicately sweet & sparkling with modest acidity, good balance, good complexity & a finish of fresh apricots. Serve as an aperitif, perfect accompaniment to Pan-Asian cuisine & lobster as well as pastry, fruit based & creamy desserts & blue cheese. - Wine Maker Notes via thirstwine.com A Dalla Terra Selection

My Review: This was sweet juicy nectar sent from the Gods. It had a little bubbly to it, which added to the fun and sweet taste. It was almost a little too sugary for my liking, but fear not I was able to finish the entire bottle along with some salty kettle corn! I definitely tasted the peaches and apricots like the wine maker proclaimed. It was a little on the syrupy side in regards to body, but that just helped it go down smoothly. I would recommend this, but this is definitely a dessert or toasting wine, due to the residual sugar and blissful sweetness! Probably not for those who prefer acidic or tannic wines. Over all it went down well amongst a great group of friends and the bottle was cute, so all good things in my opinion!
