Winery Review: The lovely bartender that helped pick this bottle out for my friends and I said that this bottle is the perfect blend of fruity and sweet. She recommend pairing it with a cheese plater or a mixed vegetable dish. The Yealands website claims "The palate is brimming with zingy fruit that is balanced with a long, crisp mineral finish".
My Review: The first words that came to my mind after tasting this wine were fruity, citrus, and lemon. As well as the lightness and thin feeling it left in my mouth, it was very refreshing and very easy to drink! There wasn't a lot of tannin and I found the balance of acidity to sweetness to be enjoyable. It was not as sweet as the Zinfandels and Moscatos I typically turn too, but overall enjoyable and I would definitely drink it again. I drank this wine by itself.
